When Mark Twain was incensed, infuriated or in need of spitting out the poison he wrote his thoughts in letters. He never posted them and they were only discovered by his wife after his death. Desolation Row by Bob Dylan is one of my other favourite grumblers particularly in the final verse of that poem: All these people that you mention Yes, I know them, they’re quite lame I had to rearrange their faces And give them all another name Right now I can’t read too good Don’t send me no more letters, no Not unless you mail them From Desolation Row - Go for it Lynn
I've a few like that in my head too :)
ReplyDeleteOne day, I just might evict them from my mind! ;)
